Brilliantly Wired
Neurodiversity, Behaviour & Inclusive Veterinary Practice
A transformative all-inclusive continuing education retreat set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, where science, reflection, and place converge.
Held at Innes House, a storied 17th-century Highland estate near Elgin, Brilliantly Wired invites you to step into a landscape shaped by centuries of history, stillness, and wild beauty. Surrounded by rolling parkland, ancient trees, and expansive skies, Innes House offers the rare feeling of being held by the land itself—part castle, part country manor, entirely restorative.
Against this evocative backdrop, Brilliantly Wired explores how neurodiversity and behaviour shape veterinary practice, leadership, and wellbeing. Led by internationally respected speakers Dr. Claudia Richter, DVM, DACVB and Ron Sosa, CVPD, CCFP, PgD-CLD, the retreat blends evidence-based insight with real-world application—offering practical tools for inclusive teams, compassionate care, and sustainable leadership.
Through expert-led learning, case-based discussion, and thoughtful reflection, participants are given space not only to learn, but to slow down—to be seen, understood, and valued for how they are wired. Between sessions, the Highland setting encourages quiet walks, fireside conversations, and moments of perspective that are difficult to access in the pace of daily practice.
This is continuing education that expands not just what you know, but how you practice—set within an estate that invites you to reconnect with clarity, curiosity, and the deeper why behind your work.
