Travel to and from the Big Tree trailhead by water taxi, with your local naturalist guide who will take your group along the well-maintained wooden boardwalk and view the old-growth rainforest in all its beauty. Lose yourself in the awe-inspiring ancient trees - some about 6 m (20’) across and approximately 1,500-2,000 years old. Learn about the ancient tradition of foraging along the way, we will identify different BC coastal wild gourmet edibles while soaking in the beauty of the forest. Be sure to bring your camera! The path through the forest is all natural, so wear some hiking boots. 3 hours in duration.
